Crawling - Day 9

Dear Little Angel,

Only nine days have passed since your second surgery and already you have begun to crawl all around the basement floor.  With casted legs behind, you drag the weight of your body using your forearms in an army style crawl.  Watching as you struggle to move the cast around the room, it is obvious the heavy cast is at the max capability of what your little arms can muscle.  Slow progress for today, but it will only be a few days before you build your strength, moving about the house with very little evidence of effort.

In addition to crawling, we also find you finally wanting to return to your spica desk to resume some of your favorite activities of coloring, reading your books, and playing with your toys.  It is awesome to see how quickly you are adjusting to being casted once more.

It is so great to see her so motivated and doing some of the things she enjoys in her normal life.
